Well. I went for a quick run this morning to beat the heat. Came home and the door was locked. So I assumed that everyone was at the local parade…. So I went to the parade. Then when I came home the kids were outside. I was like “wow they got home fast” ….. Yea no- they were home the entire time. FAIL. Good parade though. Course now I don’t have time to take a shower before we go to the picnic. Baby wipe bath maybe?
Night Chat
Just got in a random hour and a half walk tonight. My best friend called, and so I walked while I talked. It’s very therapeutic and I recommend it to everyone.
RUN COMPLETE!!!! 1:19:23 to go 4.4 miles. Not too bad, but also slower than my times in Seattle. Room to improve I suppose.
RUNNING!!!
I’m going for my first run in two days! Yea! Check back when I return.
My first run in Old Saybrook, CT down! My turn around point happens to be the marina. This is turning out to be a very cute little town.
Trying New HOT YOGA class
So usually when I do Hot Yoga I go to the Hatha class - and I love it. Today however, I can’t make that class because of my work schedule. So as the next best thing I am going to a Power class. Basically it is more flow, less holding, less resting.
But as I have never done this particular class, I figured I would put my feelers out there to see if anyone has done it. Any Thoughts?
Looking for fellow Weight Watchers dieters to follow!
Reblog if you’re on Weight Watchers, or a PERSONAL weight loss blog in general. I need to follow more blogs that post more than just pictures all day long.

Hot Yoga
Well, I went to another session of hot yoga last night. It was a lot harder than the first time. But the guy who taught it said that it was pretty much par for the course.
I have also started using MyFitnessPal again. Last time I used it I just did food logs. This time I am also logging workouts. The problem is that I don’t think the numbers it gives are all that accurate.
Aw well… at least I will keep track of what I actually do.
Just got home from my run. 3.17 miles. It was a good run- nice weather. Now off to another round of Hot Yoga!
I’m getting faster! I will have to start upping my mileage everyday so that I can still get an hour run in.
A short run today. Had to get home. But it was nice to be out in the sunshine. It’s been raining in the Seattle area for almost a week now. Never under-estimate the power of good old vitamin D!!!!
